This guide walks you through the process of manually starting a campaign in Bullseye Pro, particularly useful in cases where API limitations prevent automated triggers.
Audience: Users, CSMs
Author: Adam Dye
Purpose: To guide team members or Clients in walking clients through the process of manually starting an Open Estimate Campaign in Bullseye Pro, especially when CRM/API limitations prevent automation.
Overview
Due to API limitations, some clients cannot auto-trigger estimate campaigns. To resolve this, Bullseye Pro offers a simple manual tagging solution that kicks off the process with a predefined message flow.
This article walks you through:
-
How the Open Estimate campaign is structured
-
How to trigger it manually using a tag
-
Customization options for messaging and timing
Example Campaign Workflow Summary
When a custom TAG (Decided by you or your CSM) is applied to a contact:
-
The first message is sent in the workflow: Lets use an open estimate as an example:
-
“Hi, this is [Agent Name] with [LocationName]. Thank you for visiting with us today. Let us know if you have any questions about your estimate.”
-
Message timing can be customized if the tag is applied after the day of the visit.
-
-
The system waits for a Yes/No response:
-
Yes ➝ Notifies the team to jump into the conversation.
-
No ➝ Sends a follow-up message:
-
“Please don't hesitate to contact us if you do. Have a wonderful day.”
-
This message is customizable based on client preference.
-
-
-
If there’s no response:
-
Add automated follow-ups (e.g., after 5, 10, or more days) as needed.
-
How to Manually Start the Campaign
-
Go to the Contacts section in Bullseye Pro.
-
Search and select the contact you want to add to the campaign.
-
On the left-hand side, find the Tags section.
-
Add the "Start Estimate" tag. or whatever you have created to trigger the campaign launch.
-
⚠️ This will trigger the campaign (once it's published).
-
-
The system will automatically launch the associated campaign messaging.
Customization Options
-
The timing between follow-up messages is flexible.
-
Examples:
-
Some clients prefer: Day 2 ➝ Day 5 ➝ Day 14
-
Others prefer: Day 5 ➝ Day 20 ➝ Day 30
-
-
-
Verbiage in messages can be tailored to match timing and tone preferences.
-
All campaign logic is built and managed within Bullseye Pro.
-
❗Note: Tags must be applied inside Bullseye Pro—not your external CRM. Tags from CRMs are not synced.
-
Next Steps
Once other core campaigns (like Review Requests and Speed to Lead) are live, we recommend to:
-
Utilize this manual start process to launch targeted messages to your customers.
-
Collect feedback on timing and message preferences in order for your future campaigns to have success.
-
Update the campaign logic based on their needs.
