How to Clear Your Cache (So Your Website Displays Correctly)

Sometimes your browser saves an older version of a page (called a “cache”). If updates were recently made, caching can make your site look wrong or outdated on your device, even though it’s actually correct. Use the steps below to clear your cache and load the newest version of your site.

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots (top-right).

  3. Go to SettingsPrivacy and security.

If It Still Looks Wrong

If clearing the cache doesn’t fix it, try these quick steps:

  1. Restart your phone/computer.

  2. Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on, or switch to cellular data briefly.

  3. Restart your Wi-Fi router (unplug 30 seconds, plug back in).

  4. Try a different browser or an Incognito/Private window.

In rare cases, your internet provider or network can temporarily serve a cached version of content, and a router restart or switching networks helps.
